Pekka Nihtinen Fireworks in Vuosaari

I don?t have much experience about photographying fireworks so I decided to play safe and used scene programme this time for this purpose. I did not also knew beforehand the exact location so I was probably a bit too close, but personally I like those silhouettes of people in the front that give some sense of scale and human presence.

We have had much rain and flooding conditions this spring. Snapped these 3 pictures this morning using a new camera and stitching them up into one. A first with me for the camera and stitching.

Dave Hamlin First Christmas Snow

First Christmas Snow on West Side Rotary in Augusta, Maine. The rotary looks pretty calm at this time, (4:00 am 12/10/04) but is one of three highest accident rated places in Maine. By the way, all three are in Augusta.
